GET READY FOR THE FLATTERING PHOTO...!!!

Every one wants to look gorgeous in photographs. It is a blessing to have photogenic face but, unfortunately, most of the people are deprived from this blessing, no matter how good they wear their makeup or how dress-up they are.
It is next to impossible to have a perfect click everytime unless you’re Angelina Jolie or if modelling is your forte. So, here are the tips for all those who want to have thier pictures clicked for perfection.

HOW TO POSE:

  •  Those who say that camera adds 10 pounds haven't tried: "Twist your torso, turning one shoulder towards the camera and the other away from it. It makes you look very slender.
  • If you’re sitting, cross your legs away from the camera and don’t rest back. Sitting slightly forward in your chair forces a straighter posture which will make you look slimmer.
  • Stick your head out slightly and tilt your chin down a little, it will define your jawline and make you appear smarter and prettier.

 HOW TO SMILE:

  •  Saying ‘cheese’ and remaining natural is virtually impossible. Thing is, too big of a smile can make your gums appear large and too little of a smile can make you look stiff and unnatural. Try giggling out loud before the picture is taken for a soft and interesting effect.

MAKE YOR EYES LOOK MORE RELAXED:

  •  Close your eyes at the count of one and open them at the count of two. Look down and back up at the camera between shots. Blink at the count of two if you don't want to close your eyes. These tricks all make sure you aren't caught in mid-blink.

MAKEUP:

  •  After moisturizer, prep your face with a foundation primer. Skip the sunscreen.
  • Apply a medium-to-full coverage foundation to your face and use a stippling brush to blend.
  • Use a red-toned concealer under your eyes, green concealer on redness and blemishes.
  • Use a powder foundation to set the red and green concealer
  • Use a translucent powder to set your foundation--just a little bit! You don't want cakiness.
  • If you like, you can use a bronzer to contour your cheekbones, jawline, and temples.
  • Apply a blush of your choice to your cheekbones.
  • Fill in your brows with brow powder. You can set with a brow gel if you like.
  • Prep your lids with an eyelid primer and apply a matte nude shade to your lids.
  • Sweep a matte medium shade into your crease, and blend well.
  • Apply some sublty shimmery eyeshadow lighter than your skin tone to your browbones and inner corners.
  •   Create a thin line with black liquid or gel liner on your top lashline, and wing it out a little. Use what's left on your applicator to connect the wing with your bottom lash line.
  • Curl your lashes and apply two coats of mascara to your top lashlines and one quick coat to your bottom lashlines.

DON'T LOOK AT THE CAMERA:

  • Instead of staring at the camera dead-on, look slightly above the lens. Not only will you minimise the possibility of going temporarily blind, but you’ll also reduce the likelihood of having a picture taken with your eyes closed.

BE PLAYFUL:

  • You have to admit that most kids look great in pictures. Want to know why? It’s because they follow the rules of being truly photogenic – they’re relaxed, stress-free, playful and most importantly, they’re genuine.

BE CONFIDENT AND COMFORTABLE:

  •  The key to looking great in photos is to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Stick to clothing, hair, and makeup that make you feel confident. Photos that express real emotions and tell a story are the ones we tend to keep, so don’t be afraid to look silly.
