Hair Repair Rules!!

You can stop hair breakage by following a few simple rules.
Rule 1

Ensure you get adequate nutrition. The most important nutrients for healthy hair include omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E. Good sources of omega-3 fatty acids are fish such as halibut, herring and salmon. Nuts, seeds and whole-grain foods have high levels of vitamin E.

Rule 2

Trim your "split ends" once a month to keep the split end from traveling down the hair shaft. Allow your hair to dry naturally as much as possible and use only the low heat settings on your hair dryer. Avoid using electric rollers and curling irons.

Rule 3
Allow your hair to recover from hair treatments such as dye, permanent waves and relaxers. You should space your hair treatments at least eight weeks apart when you're trying to repair damaged hair. All of these products contain chemicals that can make your hair more likely to break.

Rule 4
Keep the tension on your hair to a minimum. Use soft brushes and wide-tooth combs and avoid hairstyles, such as braids, that place extra stress on your hair. Refrain from twisting or pulling your hair while washing and drying it.

Rule 5
Use a moisturizing shampoo each time you wash your hair. You should also apply a protein conditioner afterward. This will strengthen your hair by providing it with a protective outer coating.
